A bill of quantities can name equipment without proving that every rating, accessory and interface works together. Responsible supply begins with the approved electrical design and finishes with documented acceptance and handover.

Control the design basis

Use the current single-line diagram, specifications, equipment schedules, load data, fault levels and environmental conditions. Revision status and approving authority must remain visible when clarifications or substitutions occur.

Verify complete configuration

Model codes should capture voltage, capacity, insulation, fault duty, accuracy, burden, protection, terminals, dimensions, accessories, interlocks and applicable standards. Similar descriptions do not establish technical equivalence.

Plan delivery through energization

Production documents, tests, logistics, lifting, receiving, storage, installation sequence, commissioning and closeout form one delivery chain. An equipment arrival is not project completion.
