Inclusive digital access

Accessibility statement

Metro Power wants customers, utility teams, engineers and members of the public to understand our systems and reach the correct project pathway regardless of device or interaction method.

What the website supports

The website provides keyboard-visible focus, a skip-to-content link, semantic headings and landmarks, labeled form controls, descriptive navigation, scalable responsive layouts, reduced-motion behavior, generous touch targets and alternatives to animation-dependent understanding.

Learning and technical content

Architecture and product information is presented with text explanations alongside visual and animated material. Academy videos are optional external resources; the core Metro Power learning path remains available without playing a video.

Motion and visual effects

Visitors who enable reduced motion in their device or browser settings receive a restrained experience. Motion is used to explain system relationships and state changes, not as the only way to communicate essential information.

Forms and project documents

Project-intake forms include explicit labels, instructions, error messages and keyboard-accessible controls. If a technical document cannot be submitted through the website, customers may contact Metro Power by email or telephone for another reasonable intake route.

Current assurance boundary

Metro Power conducts practical accessibility checks during website releases, including keyboard focus, labels, heading structure, interaction sizing, overflow and representative desktop and mobile journeys. The 30 August 2026 release review included the technical-paper, solution, product-documentation, Planning Lab and workshop paths on representative desktop and touch widths. This statement does not claim that every page or third-party service has been independently certified against every accessibility standard.

Performance measurement

The website records privacy-conscious field measurements for loading stability and interaction responsiveness so actual visitor experience can guide improvements. Results vary by device, network and third-party content and are reviewed as operational evidence rather than treated as a guarantee for every visit.

Third-party content

Embedded or linked services such as YouTube are operated by third parties and may have their own accessibility features and limitations. Metro Power provides surrounding context and a direct-link alternative where those resources are used.
